Build a Better Brief

Get it Ready to Launch

Overview:

The McLaren and Dropbox campaign was designed to inspire our core audience of marketers and creatives by connecting the energy of Formula 1 with the pace of creative work. The goal was to show how Dropbox helps teams move fast, stay organized, and bring big ideas to life. We told that story through two paid ad videos, six static ads, and a three-part email nurture that highlighted the shared values of innovation, speed, and collaboration.

The Challenge:

As the producer, I led the campaign from concept through launch on a tight timeline that needed to align with McLaren’s racing season. The biggest challenge was blending two powerful brands into one cohesive story that still felt relevant to our creative and marketing audience. With multiple stakeholders across both companies, I had to keep everyone aligned, manage fast feedback cycles, and ensure every asset stayed true to the new brand direction.

My Approach:

I partnered with our brand, creative, and partnership marketing teams to craft a story that tied McLaren’s drive for performance to how marketers and creatives use Dropbox to do their best work. I oversaw both paid video productions, worked with McLaren’s media team to refine the visuals and tone, and collaborated with lifecycle marketing to build a three-part email series that extended the story across channels. Using Asana, I tracked progress, kept feedback flowing, and made sure we hit every milestone on time.
